Hollow Retroreflector Array

High-precision ray deviation, convenient for maintenance, customization

Hollow retroreflector arrays play a crucial role in modern Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) technology, especially when conducting long-distance and large-scale spectral analysis.
The design of this array ensures that the incident and emitted beams maintain precise parallelism, and it efficiently reflects the beams back to their original path. In this way, hollow retroreflector arrays provide excellent optical wavefront quality, thereby enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of spectral analysis.

Performance Features: The hollow retroreflector arrays produced by Optiksmart consist of individual hollow retroreflectors of any arbitrary size, with a comprehensive ray deviation better than 1 arcsecond. These retroreflectors can be mounted separately on corresponding material substrates, with very tight spacing between the substrates, making the array resemble a giant self-compensating mirror surface. If individual retroreflectors are damaged, they can be replaced separately. The entire array is installed in a durable casing with a protective door.

Customization on Demand: Our company can customize hollow retroreflector arrays according to the needs of different customers. The size of the array can range from a few inches to several feet in diameter, and we can provide individual retroreflectors of any size within the array, with a comprehensive ray deviation  better than 1 arcsecond. In addition, we can customize mirror coatings for specific wavelengths and high-power laser applications.

Application Fields: Interferometry, interferometers, aerospace, defense systems, and laboratory instruments.
